Flovvy is a personal expense-management app that lets you record income and expenses, scan receipts, organize budgets, accounts and shopping lists, and share expenses in groups. The service is provided by:
These Terms apply to the Flovvy mobile app, the website at flovvy.app and all related features (together, the "Service"). They apply alongside, and do not replace, the app store terms of Apple or Google through which you download the app and make purchases.
Flovvy is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older, and you are asked to confirm this during onboarding. By using the Service you represent that you are at least 18 and legally able to enter into these Terms. We do not knowingly allow anyone under that age to use the Service: if we find that an account belongs to a minor, we may close it as provided in Section 21, and its data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
A few of these Terms apply differently depending on how you use Flovvy.
Which one you are follows from how you actually use the Service. Where a provision does not distinguish between the two, it applies to everyone.
Some features require an account. You can sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your device and sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information — including the country you select when you set up the app, which we use to pre-fill your currency and formats — and to keep it up to date. You may protect access to the app with a PIN or biometrics where offered, but that does not replace the security of your device and sign-in account.
You may use the app on your own devices for your own use — personal, or for your own work — but not to provide a service to others. You may not share, sell or transfer your account to anyone else.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to download and use the Flovvy app on devices you own or control, and to use the Service, solely for your own use (see Section 4) and in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app store usage rules. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You agree not to, and not to allow others to:
Flovvy is a tool to help you record and understand your own spending. It is not a bank, payment institution, accountant or financial, tax or legal adviser, and nothing in the Service is financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Budgets, totals, statistics and insights are provided for your convenience only and come with no guarantee of accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose. Decisions you make based on the Service are your own responsibility.
Flovvy can be used for free: expenses, income, statistics, accounts, categories and the other features shown as free in the app, with no limits. Everything else comes in three forms, each described in the app together with its price before you buy:
Lifetime Plus. It is a one-time purchase tied to your account: the Plus features stay unlocked with no expiry for as long as the Service is provided, and you can restore them with "Restore purchases". "Lifetime" refers to the life of the Service, not to yours. If the store refunds the purchase, the unlock is withdrawn. If we ever discontinue the Service, we will give you reasonable notice, and any rights the law grants you remain unaffected.
When a subscription ends. Its features stay on for 3 days and are then suspended; with Pro, the included Plus is suspended too, unless you have Lifetime Plus or a Plus subscription. Your data is not deleted: you can keep viewing and exporting it. A shared group is deleted after 90 days without any participant whose subscription covers it.
New users receive a one-time bonus of AI credits when they first register (see Section 9).
All purchases (subscriptions and AI credits) are processed by the app store you use — Apple App Store or Google Play — which act as the merchant/seller of record. Payment is charged to your app store account. We do not receive or store your card or payment details. Subscription management, billing and refunds are handled through your app store account under the store's terms.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance for the period shown at purchase and, unless stated otherwise, renew automatically for successive periods until cancelled. Your subscription renews at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, through your app store account settings (App Store or Google Play). Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period. If we change subscription prices, we will give notice as required and the change will not apply to a period you have already paid for.
Free trial. Where the store offers it, the Plus subscription may start with a free trial, whose length is shown before you confirm. At the end of the trial the subscription becomes paid and renews automatically, unless you cancel in your store settings at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Pro has no free trial.
AI credits are a consumable digital item used to access AI features. They are tied to your account, are not transferable, and cannot be exchanged for money by us: purchases are made through the app store, which is the seller of record, so any reimbursement of a payment is handled by that store under its own policy and under applicable law.
What happens to credits you have not used.
Where offered, gift codes and shared-credit codes let one user send AI credits to another. Codes may expire, be single-use and be subject to limits, and may be voided if obtained through error, fraud or abuse. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Obtaining AI credits, a subscription or any other paid benefit by fraudulent means is not permitted. This includes paying with a stolen or otherwise unauthorized payment method; circumventing the app store's normal purchase flow; using automated means to trigger purchases, promotions or rewards; and knowingly exploiting a bug, or a manifest pricing error that you knew or could reasonably have been expected to know was an error. Where credits, a subscription or another benefit is obtained in one of these ways, we may reverse it and take the measures set out in Section 9, in addition to any other remedy available to us.
If a purchase is disputed, reversed or charged back through your bank, card issuer or the app store, we may suspend the AI credits and the subscription access obtained through that purchase until the dispute is resolved, and reverse them if it is resolved against us. We will suspend the account itself only where we also have grounds to believe that the purchase was fraudulent. Nothing here limits any right the app store or your payment provider gives you to dispute a charge in good faith.
Where we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or abuse, we may ask you, or ask the app store, to confirm that a purchase was authorized before we grant or restore access.
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance purchase of digital content or digital services. Where the law allows that right to be lost or limited because you have expressly requested immediate supply and acknowledged the consequences of doing so, that happens only where the requirements of applicable law have actually been met in the purchase flow — it is not something these Terms can bring about on their own.
Purchases are processed by the app store, which is the seller: any request concerning cancellation, withdrawal or reimbursement is submitted to Apple or Google and handled under their purchase process and under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer.
New users receive a one-time bonus of AI credits on first registration, intended to be granted once per person. To prevent the same person repeatedly claiming it by deleting and recreating an account, we apply the anti-abuse measure described in our Privacy Policy (a one-way hash of your email address, kept for up to 6 months). Attempting to obtain the welcome bonus more than once, or otherwise abusing credits, gift codes or promotions, is not permitted and may result in credits being reversed and access being limited or suspended.
The Plus free trial is granted by the store. It is the subscription's introductory offer: Apple or Google decide who is eligible, under their own rules, not us. We apply no anti-abuse measure of our own to that trial and process no data to decide its outcome.
Automated, bulk and coordinated abuse. Creating accounts by automated means, in bulk, or through a script, a bot or an emulator; farming welcome credits, gift codes or referral rewards across several accounts; and any coordinated scheme to obtain benefits that are meant to be granted once per person, are material breaches of these Terms.
Where we have reasonable grounds, based on specific and objectively verifiable circumstances, to believe that such abuse is taking place, we may take measures proportionate to its nature, seriousness and circumstances: reversing the credits and benefits obtained, restricting features, suspending or terminating the accounts involved, and blocking the sign-in identities used to carry it out.
We may take those measures with immediate effect and without prior notice where giving notice first would reasonably be expected to let the abuse continue, to compromise the security or integrity of the Service, to help conceal the abuse or the evidence of it, or to allow the benefits obtained to be used up or moved before we can act. In other cases we will give notice and, where reasonable and lawful, an opportunity to put things right before we suspend or terminate access.
Accounts linked to an abusive account. To establish how far an abuse extends, we may check whether other accounts match the anti-abuse identifier described in our Privacy Policy — the one-way hash of the email address. A match on its own never establishes that two accounts belong to the same person, or that they take part in the same abuse. Before we act against another account we consider further circumstances that reasonably connect it to the specific conduct, and no measure is taken on the strength of an automated identifier match by itself. Where an account merely matches an identifier, we withhold the welcome credits only, and you can ask us to restore them by writing to [email protected].
Effect on a paid subscription. A measure taken under this Section gives no right to reimbursement of benefits obtained fraudulently, without authorization, or through conduct that materially breached these Terms. Where we end access to a validly purchased subscription for reasons attributable to you, the consequences for the unused period depend on the circumstances and on mandatory law; any reimbursement the law requires you are given is unaffected, and we will not obstruct or refuse to take part in whatever the process to obtain it requires; where the purchase arrangement makes the app store responsible for paying it out, it is paid out through that store. If a measure is withdrawn because it turns out to have been taken in error, we restore your access together with the time or the credits you were unable to use.
If your account is suspended or terminated under this Section you may contest the decision by writing to [email protected], and you keep the ability to access and export the data you have entered. Nothing in this Section limits any other action available to us.
Flovvy lets you create or join groups to record and split shared expenses. "Your content" means the data you add to the Service — expenses, income, notes, receipts, categories, shopping lists, group entries and similar. As between you and us, your content remains yours.
You grant us a limited licence to host, store, copy, process and transmit your content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including syncing across your devices, running the AI features you enable and sharing group data with the members of your groups). This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for copies retained for a limited time for backup, or where retention is required by law, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to add it. When you share expenses in a group, other members of that group can see the shared entries you contribute, including any receipt details you add to shared expenses. Do not upload other people's personal data, or content that infringes third-party rights, without a proper legal basis. If you leave or delete your account, your entries in shared groups may remain available to the other members in anonymized form, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Feedback. If you send us ideas, suggestions or feedback about Flovvy, you agree that we may use them freely, without any obligation to credit or compensate you, to develop or improve the Service.
When using Flovvy you agree not to:
How to report something. We provide an electronic notice-and-action mechanism that lets anyone — whether or not they have a Flovvy account — tell us about specific information in a shared group that they consider illegal, or contrary to Section 11. Write to [email protected]. So that we can assess a notice, please include:
We acknowledge receipt of notices submitted this way where applicable law requires it, and we handle sufficiently precise and adequately substantiated notices in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner. We tell you the outcome.
What we may do about it. Where content breaches these Terms or the law, we may remove it or restrict access to it, limit the features available to the account that added it, or suspend or terminate that account. This does not affect the immediate measures we may take under Sections 7.5 and 9 against fraud and automated abuse.
Statement of reasons. When we remove or restrict access to specific information, or restrict, suspend or terminate an account, because we consider the information illegal or contrary to these Terms, we give the person affected a clear statement of reasons where applicable law requires it. It identifies the measure taken and its territorial scope, the facts and circumstances relied on, the legal ground or the provision of these Terms relied on, whether automated means were used in reaching the decision, and how the decision can be contested — by replying to us at the address above, which we will review.
We do not monitor what you record in Flovvy and have no general obligation to do so: your expenses, receipts and notes stay private to you and to the groups you choose to share them with, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Serious criminal offences. If information on the Service ever gives rise to a suspicion that a criminal offence involving a threat to the life or safety of a person has taken place, is taking place or is likely to take place, we will inform the competent authorities without delay and give them the information we hold, as required by Art. 18 of the Digital Services Act. This is not something we look for — we do not monitor what you record — but it is something we act on if we become aware of it.
Contact points. For the purposes of the Digital Services Act, the single point of contact for recipients of the Service, and for Member State authorities, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, is [email protected]. It can be used in Italian or in English.
The Flovvy app, website, design, logos, trademarks and all related software and content (excluding your content) are owned by Foryou Srl or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you beyond the limited licence in Section 5. You may not use our name or logos without our prior written permission.
We process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which is not part of this contract: it is the information the law requires us to give you, and you are not asked to approve it. It explains, among other things, how receipt scanning and AI processing work, the explicit consent required for information that may reveal health, how long we keep data, and how to exercise your rights and delete your account.
The Service relies on third parties, including the Apple App Store and Google Play, "Sign in with Google / Apple", and infrastructure and processing providers listed in the Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
We work to keep Flovvy available and reliable, but the Service is provided on an "as available" basis and may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control. We may add, change, suspend or remove features, and some features may be offered as previews or "beta" and may change or be withdrawn. Where a change significantly and negatively affects a paid feature, we will act in accordance with your mandatory consumer rights.
Changes to a paid digital service. Where you pay for the Service and we change it beyond what is necessary to keep it in conformity, we will do so only for a valid reason — adapting it to a new technical environment, to an increased number of users, or to legal requirements — at no additional cost to you, and we will tell you in advance, on a durable medium, what is changing and when. If the change negatively affects your access to or use of the Service, and the negative effect is not negligible, you may withdraw from the contract free of charge within 30 days of being informed of the change, or of the change taking effect if that is later — unless we allow you, at no additional cost, to keep using the Service without the modification, while it stays in conformity with the contract.
Receipt photo storage. Saving receipt photos to the cloud is an optional feature that lets you find them again on your other devices and after reinstalling the app; it requires your consent and you can withdraw it at any time. We may introduce a maximum storage period for older photos — for instance where this becomes necessary to keep the cost of the Service sustainable, or for security or storage-capacity reasons. If we do: we will give you reasonable advance notice in the app, the period in force will always be stated in the Privacy Policy, and you will be able to export or download the photos you want to keep before any of them are removed. Where such a change significantly and negatively affects a paid feature, your mandatory consumer rights continue to apply, including any right to terminate. Removing older photos never affects the expense records themselves — amount, date, merchant, category and any extracted items remain as they are.
We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the Service that is caused by events outside our reasonable control — including failures of the internet, hosting, app-store or payment infrastructure we do not operate, outages or withdrawal of the AI providers we rely on, cyber-attacks, power failures, strikes, epidemics, natural events, war, or acts of a public authority. Where such an event significantly affects the Service we will let you know and will restore it as soon as we reasonably can. If the event continues for more than 60 days and makes a paid feature unusable, either of us may end the paid part of the agreement. In that case we will extend your subscription, or credit back the AI credits, for the period you paid for and could not use. Where mandatory law gives you a right to reimbursement in money, that right is unaffected; since the app store, and not us, collects the payment, it is generally paid out through that store, and we will not obstruct the process needed to obtain it.
This Section describes what Flovvy is designed to do, and the limits built into it. It is a description of the Service, not an exclusion of our liability: what we answer for is set out in Section 19.
The AI is a help, not a source of truth. Receipt scanning, OCR, categorization, the voice assistant and the other AI features use automated systems that make mistakes — a misread amount, a wrong date, a wrong category. Budgets, totals, statistics and insights are calculated from what is recorded, and are meant to help you look at your own spending, not to be relied on as accounting, tax or financial advice. Review the figures before you act on them.
Availability. The Service runs on shared infrastructure and depends on third-party services we do not operate, so it can be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons beyond our control, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Data on your device. Flovvy stores your data on your device. Only while you have an active Pro subscription is it also backed up to our servers and synchronized across your devices, when you have a connection; without it, what you enter stays only on your device. Data you enter is not covered by our backups until that sync has completed, so a device that is lost, damaged, reset or uninstalled beforehand can mean the permanent loss of whatever had not been synced. Keeping your own records of anything important is worth the effort.
If you are a business user, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.
Backups and recovery. The backups we keep exist to restore the Service as a whole after an incident. They are not an individual restore facility: we do not undo deletions, recover individual records or rebuild an account on request, and deleting an expense, a group or your account is permanent. Export your data before deleting anything you may want to keep. This does not affect your rights under data-protection law.
We are liable to you as provided by law for loss or damage we cause you by failing to meet our obligations under these Terms or under the law. What we do not promise is set out where the Service is described: that AI readings of a receipt will be accurate or complete, that budgets, totals and statistics are fit for any particular decision you take, that the Service will be free of interruptions, or that data you have not yet synchronized to our servers can be recovered. Those are the limits of what the Service undertakes to do, not exclusions of our liability.
We are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable when you accepted these Terms, for loss caused by a third-party service outside our control, or for loss you could have avoided by following the warnings the app shows you. Nothing here excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or any of your rights that cannot be excluded or limited by agreement; if you are a consumer, you keep all the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable to you for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, nor for any indirect or consequential loss, however arising and whether or not foreseeable; and our total liability to you, for all claims taken together, is limited to the greater of the amounts attributable to your use of the paid Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim — net of tax and of anything reimbursed to you, and irrespective of whether they were paid to us directly or collected by an app store — and EUR 100. This paragraph does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, which cannot be limited in advance (Art. 1229 Italian Civil Code).
If you are a business user. You will indemnify Foryou Srl, its directors, employees and agents against third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses and reasonable and necessary legal costs, to the extent they arise directly from: your material breach of these Terms; your fraudulent, unlawful or abusive use of the Service, including of credits, gift codes, referrals, promotions or the free trial; content you add to the Service without having the rights or the legal basis needed to add it, including the personal data of other people; or your infringement of the rights of a third party, including another member of a shared group. This obligation applies only to the extent the claim, loss or cost is attributable to your conduct, and does not apply to the extent it is caused by our own breach of these Terms or of the law, or by our negligence, gross negligence or wilful misconduct. We will notify you of any such claim without undue delay and give you a reasonable opportunity to take part in the defence; you may take it over with counsel reasonably acceptable to us, we may take part at our own expense, and no settlement may impose an obligation or an admission on us without our prior written consent.
If you are a consumer. You are liable to us only as provided by applicable law, for loss or damage you cause us intentionally or negligently — including by breaching these Terms, by using the Service unlawfully, or by adding content without having the rights or the legal basis needed to add it. Nothing in these Terms creates a duty to compensate us that is wider than the one the law already imposes on you, and nothing here affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.
You can stop using Flovvy at any time and can delete your account and associated data directly in the app (Menu → Delete data options → Delete account) or as described on the Delete account page. Cancelling a subscription is done through your app store account.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms (for example, by abusing credits or promotions, using the Service unlawfully, or compromising security), or if required by law. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy. On termination, the licence in Section 5 ends; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, the description of what the Service does and does not do, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Each version has a date, and the version in force is published at flovvy.app/terms — the link inside the app always points there, so it always shows you the current text.
Every published version is also kept at its own permanent address, in the form
flovvy.app/legal/terms-YYYY-MM-DD. Those pages are never changed or removed, so you can always check what
you agreed to on a given date. When you accept, we record the version, the date and where you accepted it.
We inform you of any significant change to these Terms, as required by Art. 14(2) of the Digital Services Act. Where what actually changes is the paid Service itself rather than the rules that govern it, Section 16 applies and this Section does not displace it: we do not treat a change that negatively affects a paid feature as a mere change of Terms to be accepted or refused. Changes take effect when posted, or on the later date we indicate. If a change is significant, the app will ask you to accept the new version before you continue using the Service. If you do not accept, you can no longer use the Service — but you can still export all of your data and delete your account from that same screen. Your right to obtain your data and to erase your account never depends on accepting these Terms.
These Terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and any dispute may be brought before the courts of your place of residence, as provided by applicable consumer law; nothing here deprives you of that protection. For non-consumers, the courts of Treviso, Italy have exclusive jurisdiction.
We would always prefer to resolve any issue directly — please contact us first at [email protected]. Consumers may also be entitled to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body. (The European Commission's online dispute resolution "ODR" platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.)
If you download Flovvy from the Apple App Store, the following also applies and, in case of conflict, prevails over this Section only:
If you download Flovvy from Google Play, your use is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service, and purchases are handled by Google as described in Section 7.
These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service; the Privacy Policy is information we give you, not part of the agreement. If any provision is found invalid, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor, without reducing your rights. Language. These Terms may be made available in more than one language for your convenience. If you are a consumer, nothing in this Section limits any mandatory rule of applicable law on the language, interpretation or transparency of consumer contracts. Where language versions differ, the version that applicable mandatory law requires prevails to the extent that law requires it; in every other case, the English version prevails.

Abuso automatizzato, massivo e coordinato.
Come segnalare qualcosa. Scrivi a [email protected].
data e dove è avvenuta l'accettazione.
Preferiamo sempre risolvere ogni questione direttamente: scrivici prima a [email protected].
